Q: When can I start?
A: Lessons run from September through June, but students are welcome to join throughout the year. Our summer session is held in July and August.

Q:How much do lessons cost?

Q: How old do I have to be?
A: Anywhere between 5 and 95! Many students begin at age 5 (and even some 4 year olds can have 15-minute lessons), but many others start when they are a little older. And we have several adults taking music lessons, as they find time in their lives for themselves - it is never too late to learn a musical instrument.

Q: How much time do I have to spend at each level? A: That depend on the amount of practicing! Beginners can take 2 years to learn the basics before they more into Royal Conservatory. Higher grades in the Royal Conservatory programs require more time commitment, and can take up to 2 years per grade.

Q: How many classes per week do you recommend I take?
A: One per week. If you need extra lessons for an examination, festival or other performance, additional times will be scheduled to support you.
